[ SBMG BLOG ] INTERVIEW BY @MECCAGLOBAL With The multitalented Tiffany Green. #PUBLISHEDANDBLACK #BOSSWOMEN #LEVELUP #MULTIPLEHATS #OWNERSHIP

@MECCAGLOBAL – Let the people know who you are, and where you’re from.
===
===
TIFFANY GREEN- I am Tiffany A Green-Hood. I’m From Chicago Illinois. I am a publisher, business coach, author and design strategist. I teach authors the business of publishing and how to create 7 or more streams of income from their book, brand or business.
===
===
@MECCAGLOBAL That’s dope, a lot of Author’s don’t realize their book is MORE than “JUST A BOOK” My light bulb went off and I knew I was on to something when I first Self Published in 2004, during the time I was selling my book off myspace, I was just starting to figure this out, and find my way a lot of ups, and downs my first book opened the door to get me in rooms I didn’t even think of from then, to now where I Am today – but anyway – Congratulations on your 1 year Anniversary issue of the magazine, and thank you again for featuring me on that cover shout out to Ayana Bean for linking us what made you want to start a magazine ?
===
===
Tiffany Green- Thank you! Being in the literary world since 2007, I’ve always wanted to start a magazine to promote and celebrate black authors. In 2021 I decided it was time to stop procrastinating.
===
===
@MECCAGLOBAL – Tell us about you and your brand as an Author and who is your targeted audience.
===
===
Tiffany Green -When I do publish books of my own, they are mainly non-fiction and self-help. My target audience is entrepreneurs in the beginning stages who are ready to build a real brand and do the work. If they are looking for a overnight million dollar business then I’m NOT the coach for them.
===
===
@MECCAGLOBAL – Let the people know the name of your book?
===
===
Tiffany Green – My latest book is called Black Women Win Anthology. It includes 10 co-authors who shared their stories of being a black woman winning in life, business or whatever their journey has afforded them. My goal with this book is to celebrate women across the globe and unwise their stories once and for all.
===
===
@MECCAGLOBAL- What does Authorpreneuriship mean to you?
===
===
Tiffany Green- Authorpreneurship means everything to me. I feel like everyone should publish a book in their lifetime. Books are tools that will get you into rooms that money cannot. The magazine is a major media tool that everyone wants to be a part of. I love being the editor of my own magazine.
===
===
@MECCAGLOBAL I agree, it is a huge component, and tool to this media world. I understand the magazine business very well working alongside Big brother DJ KAY SLAY for 12 years, it’s definitely a different type of grind, and work ethic, but worth it when it’s done right! Who was your influence, and why?
===
===
Tiffany Green- My influence I would say are my parents. They planned out starting a family and living a good life. Although there were ups and downs they did not know or have the tools to succeed in some major areas. I truly feel like I am appointed to do what they didn’t know they could do. It’s an honor to carry the torch and live out they dreams they had.
===
===
@MECCAGLOBAL What’s the difference with your magazine, vs these other magazines ?
===
===
Tiffany Green – My magazine is set apart because it was strictly created to celebrate black authors in the most upscale vision.
===
===
@MECCAGLOBAL – Let the people know what else you do.
===
===

Tiffany Green – I offer publishing services, 1:1 coaching, group coaching in my university Published + Black University. I’m also a wedding photographer of 17 years and so much more.
===
===
@MECCAGLOBAL – What would you say is your greatest win running this magazine, Along with everything else you’re doing.
===
===
Tiffany Green – The greatest win is that everyone wants to be a part the minute they see it or hear the name.
===
===
@MECCAGLOBAL – What has been the most effective marketing initiatives or program you have used to promote yourself overall in your opinion?
===
===
