@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : My name is SB.. Owner of ESBE Clothing. I’m from Newark NJ. I also lived in Cali for a few years. I’m the 4th child out of 8. I’ve always had an interest in Art, Fashion, and making Money at a young age. Growing up in Newark in the 80’s there was always a lot of Fly older guys i looked up to, and there was always a lot of Money being made in our area! The Art part came from my Father.

@MECCAGLOBAL: Oh You from Newark? What part of Newark you from? Where you grew up at in Newark what street? What block? What area? What schools you went to? I’m from Newark.

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : I’m from the South Ward. I went to Sis Clara Muhammad School and did some Schooling in Cali.

@MECCAGLOBAL Who were some of the clothing brands that inspired you to want to do a clothing line?

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : I wasn’t inspired to do Clothing, it came about from an accident. I had a Marker in my Jeans and it busted in my Pocket. The stain from the ink is what inspired me. It was Art, and it made this crazy looking design, but the design was so dope on the jeans, that i had to make a pair and see how they came out. I made a pair of jeans and a shirt to match. Wherever i wore them, i got a lot of great responses from people and requests from people to make them a Set.. After 3-4 sets i made. I said to myself “i got something”. And from there it all started.

@MECCAGLOBAL Do you chose which type of fabric, or colors for the clothes based on your own personal style?

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : No not base on my own personal style. But i do have a major input on chosing them. They’re chosen due to trends, seasons, or ideas that the team or any individual blesses me with. Our Graphic Designer and i Brainstorm, go over ideas as well before and item is manufactured.

@MECCAGLOBAL How do you feel about the new trends of clothing out now?
@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : I can go on forever about that, but I’ll keep this one simple. Fashion is different for everyone, so i say just add a lil style and flavor to whatever you wear.

@MECCAGLOBAL: Explain to the kids coming up now, that just because you come from a quote un quote urban area that doesn’t mean you can’t be successful.

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : Coming up from a less fortunate neighborhood motivated me, because my Father would take us through different cities and neighborhoods, and see how other people was living. In Big houses, with a nice size front Lawns and driveways lol. That showed me that there’s options, instead of just this. But coming up from any area doesn’t determine your success or make it an excuse to determine your success. The success comes from your Hard work and efforts you put in.

@MECCAGLOBAL : I feel you on that,lol to see how other people was living lol @ options word real talk… You are right about coming from less fortunate areas, hardwork, and effort-im originally from Grafton Avenue projects in Newark New Jersey,North Newark and now i’m here. but anyway, Explain to the people the importance of having the right people in your corner and the amount of focus and hard work going into manufacturing a successful product.

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : It’s very important to have a great team and a great Support cast. Picking your team is very important. You want your team members to be as driven as you and hard workers. One person can do all the work, but it can be overwhelming, physically and mentally. And one can’t be in 2 places at one time. Any business starting up or try to be successful, like Nipsey Hussle said it takes “Dedication, Hard work, plus Patience”.. I tell people i work 8days a week lol, because I’m always working. Even when I’m not physically working.. I’m mentally working. Coming up with new designs, color schemes, materials, marketing etc.

@MECCAGLOBAL: 8 Days, try 15 days in one week
if that’s a thing lol Monday through Friday Tripple grind! lol but i get it we all feel that way! It’s not enough days in the week! i understand you clearly, about mentally working. What inspires you to work on a new piece of clothing ?

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : Life itself does that.. majority of our designs have a Positive message behind it. So when designs are thought of and made up, it usually comes from Political topics or just the way we feel about certain issues. I love Art, so colors play a major part. I pretty much can be inspired by a lot of things.

@MECCAGLOBAL : What advice would you tell a teenager in high school inspired by your clothes to want to start their own line?

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : If this is what you want to do, make sure you will Love doing it. Make sure you have a lot of hours a day you can devote to the business. And also if this is what you want to do, be able to take criticism and don’t let no one tell you that you can’t do this!

@MECCAGLOBAL : Explain how clothes, music, and Sports, go hand and hand along with everything we do, and wear nowadays, being an extension of our expression.

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : In our Culture Fashion plays a part in our everyday life style… A person may not be an out spoken person, but they’ll let their Fashion express their feelings. In music, as an Artist or Performer when in the light most want to look their best and look different then then norm, because the Spot light is on them. Music and Fashion are both expressions. You can wear something Loud, you can Sing or Rap something in a Loud expression.

@MECCAGLOBAL : What would you like for people to say about your clothing years from now, leaving a legacy with your clothes?

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : The Clothes were Fly, Different, didn’t cost an Arm n Leg lol, and it also taught me something!

@MECCAGLOBAL :They definitely are quality, you sent me some shirts, ( STAY ELEVATED TSHIRTS ) thank you. How has the HIPHOP community or the people in general responded to your line of clothing? Support wise ?

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : Pretty good, i get a lot of good feed back from a lot of Artist. But our line doesn’t have a limitation on Genre.

@MECCAGLOBAL: When you see artist, or anybody wearing your shirts how does that make you feel?

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : It always feel good.. but i get the same feeling from an Artist as it do from a regular Joe. I just love the feeling that people respect the Quality and Message!

@MECCAGLOBAL: What would you be doing if you were not and Entrepreneur with this clothing line?

@ESBE CLOTHING – @ESBETSHIRTS : I paint Houses as well, so it would definitely be somewhere in the Art field

@MECCAGLOBAL If you could style, dress anybody for any event who would you like to see in your clothes going forward?
