I Sold this book part 1 out of my car trunk the lex coupe SC 400, and out my small kitchen when i was living in the second brownstone and selling my books off MySpace page lol— digital —word of mouth around the same time i created my first newsletter. I was selling my book hand to hand in the street before getting them in the first 2 book stores in my hometown downtown Newark New Jersey The source of Knowledge, with Owners Dexter & Patrece, also the other bookstore downtown Newark, Urban Knowledge corner of broad and market no longer there —— shout out to the girl Brooklyn in the QUEENS Bookstore section Hall of fame, shout out to my peoples in ATLANTA bookstore DBS sounds my family for life Tabago, also in PHILLY bookstore, ( Tone Trump plugged me in to the Philly bookstore with Tyson and Hakim ) And before getting my books in Harlem bookstore Dj KAYSLAY is the one that helped me get my first book in HARLEM bookstore with Pop & G! Black star Lenox ave when it was open SLAY made that happen for my books to be in Harlem )

THATS WHY I SELECTED THIS SPECIFIC PHOTO TO BE IN EVERY ONE OF MY COLUMNS INSIDE DJKAYSLAY MAGAZINE STRAIGHT STUNTIN BUT THAT WOULD COME YEARS LATER 2010 ! ——-IN THIS PICTURE i had just moved back to Jersey from Queens low key real quick this my 1st book signing held in my SMALL kitchen FOR MY CLOSE FAMILY AND FRIENDS i was living in the brownstone 3 rd street Newark low key the second brownstone next door when i moved out of one brownstone into the bigger one 
still going to work Morgan Stanley and I STILL HAD a record deal, but i wasn’t taking full advantage of the record deal i wasn’t putting in the effort to follow up on the music as a recording artist, i didn’t fully understand the music business yet! At that time i was signed from 1998- up until this moment, i just didn’t make the music side as a artist a priority at that time. I didn’t understand the business side of it then how i fully understand it now on this side, because i took time to learn ( AFTER THE FACT ) 
Once i understood this is the Business of Music.
This picture in my SMALL kitchen i was still signed but not doing nothing with my record deal still working at Morgan Stanley with my record deal and i moved back to New Jersey low key and Quietly living between both Queens and Jersey in this picture in 2004 Don’t tell me Nothing is impossible – as i said in one of my columns anything is possible, it says so in the word ( IM-POSSIBLE) i said this in one of my columns later as i wrote in the magazine! I didn’t know that at the time of this picture, but i knew what i was / am capable of! Having a record deal, still working at Morgan Stanley and independently self published my first book with my own money job/ corporate money!!
-The reason i kept that same picture in my monthly columns for the past 10 plus years over a decade, as a REMINDER of where it started regarding my books, writing as a Author, And the true start of my writing career. The picture represented TO ME of “where it started” 2004! let me REPEAT I was still working at Morgan Stanley saving my job corporate paycheck money so don’t ever say you can’t do anything ( that picture taken 2004 ) my columns started with BIG BROTHER DJ KAYSLAY fast forward 2010 6 years later after this picture was taken…
I wanted to remember this moment selling my books out of my small kitchen, reminding myself of my humble WRITING 
journey beginning. Because in my mind i always have a larger visions for what i’m about to do—– but ——-I never tell nobody what I’m about to Do, until it’s done! I keep my vision in my mind pray on it, and work towards whatever i want NO EXCUSES! Also, you can’t tell everybody your vision and dreams anyway! I kept this picture inside my STRAIGHT STUNTIN COLUMNS / ARTICLES as a personal reminder to myself—— ANYTHING I PUT MY MIND TO, AND WORK TOWARDS IS POSSIBLE! AND YOU CAN DO IT TOO! KEEP GOING!
